Project Manager (CRM)
JourneyTeam is looking for a CRM Project Manager specializing in Microsoft's Dynamics Solutions to work alongside our CRM practice to oversee and execute successful customer implementations. In this role, you will manage tasks associated with the gathering of business requirements, oversee project backlogs, collaborate with technical and functional colleagues, and ultimately, deliver excellent CRM solutions to our customers.
The CRM Project Manager brings a knowledge of both functional and technical capabilities on CRM solutions during all phases of client engagement. Specifically, focus on Microsoft's CRM solutions as they relate to implementation and operation of these technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage assignments that are of a dynamic nature; assigned projects and tasks will require broad industry and technical knowledge of Microsoft's CRM Solutions.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Be able to build and manage Project Plans, Project Backlogs, and Sprints.
- Coordinate with Project Leadership from JourneyTeam and the customer in managing tasks execution and project plans.
- Lead project resources, scope, and planning throughout implementation while managing team and client expectations.
- Track project progress to assess and mitigate any risks, monitor deliverables, costs, timing, and handle change requests.
- Collaborate with consulting leads and architects to deliver solutions.
- Direct project team(s) via status meetings, discovery workshops, task breakdowns, and other initiatives to ensure project execution, applying agile and waterfall hybrid methodology delivery practices.
- Ability to travel when required, but generally not required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years related field or equivalent Project Manager experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience with CRM solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate requirements into project tasks and backlog items.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools; specifically, Project, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, or other project management tools.
- Broad understanding of on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft working models in an enterprise environment.

Certification Requirements
Applicants for the Project Manager role must have the following certifications or a plan to attain them within the first year of employment:
- MB-910: Dynamics 365 CRM overview
- PL-910: Power Platform overview
Preferred Skills (not required):
- Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, CSM)
- Experience working in a SaaS company
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (Project Service Automation or Project Operations)
- Experience with Azure DevOp

30 Days:
- Read and review “The Ideal Team Player” by Patrick Lencioni
- Shadow other project managers to learn the implementation process and tasks required throughout our projects.
- Be assigned to a project and manage delivery.
6 months:
- Fully involved in project and support efforts and be a contributing member of project teams and long-term client support.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and ensure timeline communication with stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
1 Year:
- Develop and implement process improvements based on project learnings to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, becoming a trusted advisor for their CRM needs.
- Working with the CRM Project Leads, conduct training sessions or workshops for team members on project management best practices and tools.
- Provide feedback and contribute to the development of JourneyTeam’s project management methodologies and tools.
Location:
While remote work is available, preference will be given to candidates based in Utah who can regularly commute to our Draper office. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration—especially when it comes to supporting new hire success and building strong team connections.
Compensation:
Base salary range of $80,000 – $120,000, + performance-based bonus program. Eligibility and payout are tied to individual contributions, team performance, and company success.
This is the established pay range for the Project Manager role at JourneyTeam. Actual compensation is dependent on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities. In general, new employees can expect to start at the lower end of the range (with opportunity to grow and expand within the organization).
