Sales Development Representative

JourneyTeam is seeking hungry, energetic professionals who are eager to break into sales and the tech industry. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will generate pipeline, qualify inbound and outbound leads, and drive strategic outreach specifically around Microsoft‑aligned opportunities.

This role is ideal for candidates with some sales or customer‑facing experience who want to join a company with a clear, structured process that helps new SDRs ramp quickly and succeed with confidence.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Execute our structured, data‑driven outreach process leveraging Microsoft tools to ensure consistent results and a strong foundation for early‑career success.
  • Follow an omni‑channel outreach motion that includes calling, email, LinkedIn/social, chat, SMS, and other digital touchpoints as part of your daily activity expectations.
  • Work on‑site in our Draper, UT office to collaborate closely with peers, Sales leadership, and Account Executives.
  • Qualify inbound leads and advance opportunities through early pipeline stages.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and adhere to sales process guidelines.
  • Participate in structured SDR training, role‑plays, and ongoing coaching sessions.
  • Leverage scripts, sales plays, and guided sequences to improve performance, confidence, and consistency.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in sales, customer service, campus leadership, or competitive team environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Exposure to outbound sales motions or SDR tools.
  • Understanding of Microsoft business applications or enterprise software.

Compensation: 

Base salary: $55,000

On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$80,000, dependent on performance.

This reflects the established compensation for the SDR role at JourneyTeam.

Location: 

This role is on‑site in Draper, UT and regular office attendance is expected for training, collaboration, and overall team effectiveness.
